There were no shortage of Five-Star campers taken in the NBA’s 2009 Development League draft. The sixteen-team, D-Leauge, which is entering its ninth season is truly becoming a minor league for the NBA. The number of callups to the NBA has grown from 8 in 2001-2002 to 24 in 2008-2009 seasons. There was a lot of Orange in Toronto for Halloween weekend! Five-Star Basketball Camp and Toronto's HoopDome teamed up for a great weekend camp. Billy Clark Love for Basketball: HoopGroup Fall Jamfest NJ Championship 2009!

This weekend was a trip to NJ for HoopGroup tourney. With my 13u squad, it was a rough weekend. We went 1-2. We played a good and big team from NC called "Showtime". They had a couple of 6'4 kids. Well , its time to get back in the mix . Had to adjust the camp schedule a little bit due to Football . Dave Hopla , Shooting Guru , is doing a weekend camp in Upstate NY this weekend that I will attend . This guy is amazing , check him out at www.davehopla.com .
